Established in 2018, NYC Group Crit is a community-based, artist-run collective working in collaboration with the Box Factory Gallery to organize constructive, intergenerational environments and events in which serious artists at all levels can meet for FREE. Artists showcase their work, exchange ideas and enliven the local arts community. By encouraging artistic growth and pushing boundaries, we aim to elevate the quality of artwork and create opportunities that support artists in their creative practices and careers.

NYC Group Crit, co-founded by Izzy Nova and Michael Krasowitz, benefits from the collaborative contributions of Kiera Stuart, director of Box Factory Gallery, and Helen Harder. Izzy Nova serves as the director.
